Job summary

Harmony Housing Affordable Development Inc. seeks an experienced Director of Acquisitions to lead sourcing, underwriting, and initial execution of affordable housing projects across targeted markets.

You will develop partnerships with owners, brokers, lenders, investors, and government agencies, manage the origination pipeline, and advance deals leveraging 4% and 9% LIHTC financing. This role requires strong finance, negotiation, and leadership skills and reports to the Executive Vice President,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in business, real estate, finance, or urban planning.
• 5–7 years in affordable housing development, investment, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, and affordable housing funding.

Responsibilities

• Source new affordable housing opportunities and manage the acquisition pipeline.
• Prepare financial analyses, feasibility studies, and initial project concepts.
• Negotiate and execute purchase, development, and joint-venture agreements.
• Build relationships with owners, brokers, lenders, investors, and government agencies.
• Present pipeline updates to leadership and Investment Committee.
