Revolut Ltd. is seeking a Head of Accounting in New York to develop end-to-end accounting processes and oversee local tax and regulatory reporting for a US-regulated bank holding company. The role combines GAAP/IFRS reporting with SOX support and automation-focused improvements.

Hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week in the New York office, with the chance to influence financial disclosures and scale across the US entity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in corporate accounting or financial control within banking or financial services.
• Active or inactive CPA qualification.
• Expertise in US GAAP and month-end close in a complex organization.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the month-end close process for speed and accuracy.
• Manage daily reconciliations and produce core accounting documentation.
• Implement AI/automation for monthly and quarterly analyses.
• Build accounting infra to report GAAP and IFRS for a US-regulated bank holding company.
• Support SOX and external auditor requests for year-end/quarterly reviews.
• develop team skills to improve operational leverage.
• Provide guidance on new product developments or launches.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local regulatory standards.
