Job summary

Capture One in New York City seeks a Senior Accountant to own day-to-day US accounting operations and support tax compliance. You will work with a global finance team, ensure accurate reconciliations, and help scale the US entity.

The role blends operational excellence with ownership in a growing software company, with a hybrid schedule three days per week at the office near Canal Street in Soho.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with AP/AR and cash management.
• Experience supporting sales and use tax compliance.
• Experience collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting operations for Capture One US Inc.
• Manage accounts payable, invoicing, and collections follow-up.
• Manage accounts receivable and vendor invoice processing.
• Support monthly and annual close activities and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on US tax compliance.
