Job summary

San José State University seeks a Vice Provost for Academic Innovation to lead PaCE and global engagement programs, guiding strategy across departments and campuses. The position reports to the Provost and collaborates with colleges, faculty, and external organizations to ensure innovative program delivery while maintaining compliance with CSU

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent; five years of administrative leadership.
• Experience in developing and delivering professional and continuing education programs.
• Ability to manage staff and budget in a complex university unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of PaCE and related programs across campus.
• Build strategic partnerships with industry, international partners.
• Oversee budget planning and fiscal management for Academic Innovation.
• Serve as liaison with colleges, faculty, and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with CSU guidelines and immigration regulations.
