Job summary

Golden Gate University seeks a Deputy Provost to lead core academic operations and help drive growth, innovation, and change across the university. The role reports to the Provost and is part of the senior leadership team, guiding academic and student-facing functions with a focus on continuous improvement.

The Deputy Provost will oversee day-to-day operations, foster consensus across faculty and staff, and help operationalize a vision for AI-enabled, multilingual, global higher education.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree and senior leadership experience in higher education.
• Experience overseeing faculty affairs, academic administration, enrollment management, and student-facing operations.
• Understanding of accreditation, curriculum management, faculty governance, and academic policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across academic operations and student-facing services.
• Oversee admissions, advising, registrar, scheduling, and related functions.
• Lead institutional transformation and AI-enabled teaching initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Education

Terminal degree (PhD, EdD, JD, or equivalent)
