Job summary

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist - Head and Neck to lead the SLT service for H&N patients, including complex dysphagia, voice disorders and tracheostomy care. You will oversee full assessment pathways, including VF and FEES, and drive rehabilitation and outcomes.

You will provide clinical guidance and training for junior staff and the wider team, identify service improvements and lead governance and quality initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience leading SLT services for head & neck cancer.
• Proven ability to train junior staff and provide mentoring.
• Experience with videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VF) and FEES.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SLT service for head and neck patients, including complex dysphagia and voice/tracheostomy care.
• Oversee clinical pathways, assessments and rehabilitation.
• Provide clinical guidance and training for junior staff and the wider team.
