University of Mary Washington Athletics seeks a qualified candidate for the full-time Head Men’s Volleyball Coach position. Advertised Range: Commensurate with experience up to $50,000

(A final salary offer will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, and is not is not negotiable beyond what is advertised.)

Job Summary/Basic Functions

UMW Athletics seeks qualified applicants for the full-time position of Head Men's Volleyball Coach. The Head Coach will provide leadership for the volleyball program and oversee all aspects of its day-to-day operations including, but not limited to, practice and game preparation, recruitment of prospective student-athletes, academic oversight of student-athletes, fundraising, facility and contest scheduling, budget management, supervision of assistant coaches, and other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Experience as a coach, student assistant or student-athlete.
  • Experience planning and conducting practices, providing technical instruction, and supporting the development of student-athletes.

  • Experience recruiting prospective collegiate student-athletes.
  • Previous experience supervising or providing leadership to coaching staff.
  • Previous experience supporting program administration, fundraising, budget management, or competition scheduling.
