Job Opportunity: Part-Time Lifeguard at Downtown Family YMCA

The Downtown Family YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic community member to help ensure the safety of patrons at our pool! We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards (we will provide certification if you qualify). This is a part-time position starting at $14.00 per hour.

DUTIES of a Lifeguard

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the safety of members and program participants. Availability for evening and weekend shifts is required.

QUALIFICATIONS of a Lifeguard

Candidates must be at least 15 years old and hold current CPR, AED, First Aid, and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred but not required.
