Job summary

Imagine Early Learning Centers is seeking a Head Teacher to join our employee-owned team in Manhattan. Our center provides a safe, nurturing, fun, and friendly environment and delivers high-quality educational childcare for working families.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and effective communication with families and co-teachers, while adhering to licensing and NAEYC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum AA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field preferred, or in progress.
• BA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field, or in progress, a plus
• 1-2 years experience teaching infants/toddlers in an Early Childhood program required
• Previous experience with NAEYC standards and the accreditation process preferred
• Clearance for work in DOH child care programs and DOE PKA classrooms a plus.
