Job summary

YMCA in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Part Time, hourly Head Gymnastics Coach to lead youth programs. The role offers evenings and weekend shifts, with opportunities to mentor staff and help grow gymnastics offerings within the community.

Candidate should be 18+, have gymnastics coaching experience, and excel in communicating with children and parents while maintaining a positive environment.

• 1+ years of experience in a gymnastics setting and coaching
• Strong communication skills with ability to meet each participant at their level of experience
• Enjoyment from working with children and maintaining positive relationships with parents

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of instruction for youth gymnastics programs
• Assist in training and building a quality coaching staff to carry out the program mission
• Lead fun, safe, and educational gymnastics classes
• Build strong relationships with members and guests of all ages and skill levels
• Assist directors in developing new gymnastics-centered fitness programs

What is needed for this job:

• 18+ years of age
• 1+ years of experience in a gymnastics setting as well as in a gymnastics coaching setting
• Have strong communication skills with desire to meet everyone at their level of experience
• Enjoyment from working with children and keeping positive relationships with their parents
