Job summary

Brattleboro Country Club seeks a Head Golf Professional to oversee daily golf operations, tournaments, and instruction, while promoting the club and the game of golf. The role reports to the General Manager and emphasizes a welcoming experience for members and guests.

Ideal candidates have substantial Head/Assistant Golf Professional experience, PGA membership progress, and strong organizational skills to lead events, merchandising, and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have previousHead Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professional, or comparable golf operations experience.
• PGA membership or progress toward PGA membership is desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Retail merchandising experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the golf program and Pro Shop.
• Coordinate and execute club tournaments, leagues, outings, and events.
• Develop and promote golf programming to increase participation for members and public.
• Provide private and group golf instruction for members and non-members, including junior/beginner programs.
• Manage Pro Shop inventory, merchandising, and staff scheduling.
• Hire, train, and supervise Pro Shop and golf operations staff.
• Coordinate tee sheets, pacing of play, and start procedures for a smooth experience.
• Represent Brattleboro Country Club professionally within the golf community.
