Job summary

Saddle Ridge Elementary School in Cheyenne, Wyoming seeks a reliable Head Custodian to oversee custodial services and maintain a safe, attractive environment for students and staff. You will supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate custodial personnel, while ensuring cleaning, maintenance, and facility safety standards.

The position is 12 months, Monday–Friday, 12:00am–8:00pm, 8 hours/day, with a starting date immediately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months custodial experience.
• Experience supervising staff and facilities maintenance.
• Criminal background check required; ability to communicate effectively; basic math; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains assigned facilities to ensure a safe, clean school environment.
• Supervises and trains custodial staff, schedules daily tasks and events.
• Monitors building systems and responds to safety or operational concerns.
• Orders supplies and maintains custodial equipment and inventory.
