Taher, Inc. is a family-owned food service management company specializing in K-12 school meals, corporate dining, and other food services.

We are seeking a Head Cook to lead our kitchen team in a fast-paced school dining environment and ensure meals meet high quality and safety standards. The Head Cook will manage standard recipes, oversee inventory and staff, and help maintain cost control while delivering nutritious meals to students and staff.

Competenze

• 2 years experience in a school food service setting preferred.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisor and lead a small team.
• Strong communication with employees and clients.
• Wollows food safety and HACCP standards as part of daily duties.

Mansioni

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food through standardized recipes.
• Ensures meals meet quality standards and are prepared within time limits.
• Directs kitchen staff and substitutes in food preparation and serving.
• Monitors equipment and temperatures of refrigeration and freezer units.
