Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking a Head Cook to join our growing team in Tonawanda, NY.

This role focuses on preparing breakfast and lunch/dinner for plant employees, with shift 5:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday, and maintaining high sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will bring Head Chef/Sous Chef experience, ServSafe certification, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a track record of meeting food-cost targets.

Qualifications

• Head Chef/Sous Chef experience preferred.
• Prior experience preparing hot foods and making sandwiches.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain compliance with health department standards.
• Responsible for beginning and ending shifts on time, working well under pressure, and meeting food cost targets.
• Will be preparing meals for breakfast and lunch/dinner for plant employees.
• Maintaining sanitary conditions and cleanliness is a must.
• Creative and hardworking professionals who are committed to the success of our company and themselves.
• Ordering supplies and product for service.
