Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT seeks a Director of Hotel/Convention Sales to lead the convention & expo sales department, driving revenue optimization and strategic growth across assigned markets.

You will supervise the sales team, oversee contracts, budgets and top accounts, participate in industry events, and collaborate with operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences for groups booking multiple nights at our property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing or related field.
• Five years in hotel group sales with convention exposure.
• Directors' experience for hotel/convention sales team.
• Experience selling a property with large convention/meeting space.

Responsibilities

• Direct the convention sales department operations to optimize revenue.
• Oversee top accounts and large group business.
• Lead training, hiring and performance feedback for staff.
• Plan budgets and monitor variances for the cost center.
• Represent Mohegan Sun at trade shows and client events.
