Job summary

Burke - South Block is hiring a Head Coach to lead a team and deliver an outstanding guest experience. You’ll set the tone for the block, ensure South Block’s high standards, and drive daily operations including scheduling, training, and guest service.

The role requires at least 2 years of team leadership, a willingness to lead by example, and a passion for creating awesome guest experiences. 18+ with a HS diploma; expect a dynamic, supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing and motivating a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead with an owner’s mentality to ensure South Block’s high standards each shift.
• Create schedules balancing business needs with team happiness.
• Be the go-to person for guest needs, celebrate wins and solve challenges.
• Train, coach, and develop your team to grow into future leaders.
• Keep the store running smoothly: ordering supplies, tracking inventory, deposits, and cleanliness.
• Hire great people and onboard them with energy, helping them grow into leaders.
