South Block in Washington, DC is seeking a Head Coach to lead a team and uphold our high standards across every shift.

You'll build schedules, train staff, be the go-to for guest needs, and ensure operations run smoothly, from ordering to deposits, while maintaining a safe, welcoming store.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience managing and motivating a team.
• Willingness to jump in, and lead by example.
• Passion for creating awesome guest experiences.
• Ability to stay cool, flexible, and solution-oriented under pressure.
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead with an owner’s mentality to uphold South Block’s high standards each shift.
• Build schedules balancing business needs with team happiness.
• Be the go-to person for guest needs, celebrate wins and solve challenges.
• Train, coach, and develop your team to grow into future leaders.
• Keep the store running: inventory, deposits, ordering supplies, and safety.
• Hire great people, onboard them with energy, and develop leaders.
• Model positivity and accountability to set the tone for the block.
