Job summary

Paterson Public Schools seeks seasonal coaches for the spring sports season. Candidates must hold a New Jersey Teacher's or Substitute Teacher Certificate, have CPR and AED certifications, and complete required safety trainings.

Coaching experience is welcomed but not mandatory, with a commitment to be available daily March through June. New hires have one year to complete the Sports First Aid course, and periodic recertifications in concussion and heat acclimatization are required.

• Coaching experience preferred, but not required
• Must be available daily during the spring sports season
• Must be certified in CPR and AED, and holding a current certificate in both
• Must obtain a "Concussion Awareness and Wellness" certificate or its equivalent, renewed annually
• Must Obtain a "Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness" certificate or it's equivalent, renewed annually.
• All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in "Sports First Aid".
