Job summary

Bend-La Pine Schools in Bend, OR is seeking an Athletic Coach for a high school program. The role focuses on guiding student-athletes, enforcing eligibility rules, and upholding academic and athletic standards within a comprehensive program.

The coach will communicate with students, families, and staff, help schedule practices and events, and participate in fundraising. Evening/weekend commitments and travel for competitions may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a comprehensive high school athletic program preferred.
• Understand eligibility, tryout, cut processes, and lettering rules.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Hold high ethical and professional standards.
• Be an appropriate role model for high school student-athletes.
• Hold high expectations academically and behaviorally for all student-athletes.
• Develop, articulate, and implement a vision for the program.
• Work cooperatively in a school-wide athletic program.
• Be accessible to athletes at all levels of the program.
• Other duties as assigned by Athletic Director.
