Qualifications

• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certification (one-time).
• Concussion in Sports (annual).
• Heat Illness Prevention (every 4 years).
• Appearance and Performance Enhancing Drugs training (every 4 years).
• Heads Up certification (Yearly) (Football only).
• First Aid/CPR/AED (every 2 years) (paid coaches only).

Responsibilities

• Develop, articulate, and implement a vision for the program.
• Lead a comprehensive high school athletic program.
• Coordinate eligibility, tryout, and lettering processes and rules.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, families and staff.
• Be involved in fundraising and scheduling decisions for the sport.
