Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group in Las Vegas seeks a Head Coach to lead the Human Performance team for the show. You will ensure artist safety, oversee coaching staff, and drive training quality and performance improvements.

The role reports to the Artistic Director and Director of Coaching, requires English fluency, experience in group management and training planning, and strong collaboration with medical and stage management teams. Swim test may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or combination of studies offering theory and practice in physical activity, sport, movement, and circus arts.
• Minimum 6 years in group management and training planning.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; other language skills are a plus.
• Must be able to pass a swim test.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to work in diverse, high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supervision and safety of Artists and manage Human Performance risk.
• Partner with Performance Medicine to implement injury risk reduction strategies.
• Oversee content of all training and acrobatic performances.
• Lead selection and supervision of Coaches and Artist Coaches.
• Deliver coaching portions of Artist evaluations and professional development.
• Maintain documentation and administrative tasks (risk assessments, progress plans).
