Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience in high-volume kitchen.
• Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office.
• Extensive knowledge of food production methods with focus on consistency and quality.
• In-depth understanding of allergens and safe dining for all.
• Strong leadership with attention to detail and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the culinary team, ensuring smooth daily operations and guidance to production staff.
• Oversee and delegate to sous chefs and kitchen staff to maintain efficiency.
• Schedule shifts for the team to balance morale and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all Environmental Health and Safety guidelines and sanitation practices.
• Plan and execute menus following military dining rotations and optimize stock usage to minimize waste.
• Manage inventory and stock levels to meet Sodexo/client expectations.
• Collaborate with Front of House management to enhance service quality.
• Train and develop the team to uphold client and Sodexo standards.
