Job summary

Snooze, Boulder, is seeking a Head Chef to lead the Heart of House, ensuring top kitchen quality and efficient service. You will manage food purchasing, inventory, training, and cost controls while partnering with Front of House to maintain a seamless guest experience.

You will supervise staffing, schedule shifts, and uphold Snooze safety and sanitation standards. A dynamic, hands-on leader with 3+ years of operations/leadership is required. 21+ and US work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations and leadership experience.
• Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register/POS.
• Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours and work 50–55 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen functions including food purchasing, storage and inventory.
• Train Snoozers in cooking methods, portioning, plating and cost control.
• Collaborate with Front of House to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Schedule staff and manage labor costs while maintaining Snooze quality standards.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and compliance with Snooze policies and procedures.
• Prepare paperwork, monitor inventory, ordering and cost management.
