Job summary

Snooze is seeking a Head Chef in Dallas to lead kitchen operations, uphold Snooze quality, and manage purchasing, inventory, and staff performance. You will train cooks, monitor portions, and maintain high standards of sanitation and safety while collaborating with the Front of House to ensure a seamless service.

Qualified candidates bring 3+ years of leadership in foodservice, strong math and cash-handling skills, and the ability to manage labor cost while delivering exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 3+ years of operations and leadership experience in foodservice.
• Excellent basic math skills; able to operate a cash register and POS system.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and work 50–55 hours per week.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all kitchen functions including food purchasing, storage, inventory, prep, and sanitation.
• Train Snoozers in cooking methods, plating, portion control, and cost containment.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs while maintaining WOW factor in Snooze food.
• Collaborate with Front of House to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee safety, sanitation, and compliance with Snooze policies and recipes.
• Assist General Manager with hiring, training, and performance reviews.
