Job summary

Playa Largo Autograph is seeking a capable line cook with supervisory experience in Key Largo, FL. You will plan, prep, and execute food production for menu items and specials, directing and training kitchen staff while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Strong communication with guests and team members is essential; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with culinary training preferred and a safe food handling certificate advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience as a line cook; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school graduate or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
• Safe food handling certificate.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as BEOs, safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials.
• Direct, train and monitor performance of kitchen staff.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
