Job summary

REAL Services, Inc. is seeking a Food Truck and Catering Manager to lead all catering and mobile food truck operations.

This full-time, at-will role directs menu development, procurement, meal production, service, and event coordination to ensure high client satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining licenses and permits, overseeing sanitation, driving the truck, managing bookings, and collaborating with the Director on schedules and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED required.
• Culinary experience preferred, minimum 5 years food service cooking experience.
• Knowledge of Food Truck operations a plus.
• Serve Safe Certification required (may be obtained after hire).
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all culinary preparation and production for catering events and food truck operations.
• Develops and standardizes menus and recipes for catering and food truck offerings.
• Procures food, supplies, and equipment with budget considerations.
• Manages event bookings, food truck appearances, and client logistics.
• Operates food truck including safe driving, setup, order taking, and service execution.
• Maintains permits, licenses, and regulatory documents for operations.
• Schedules and documents routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance for equipment.
• Leads food preparation and service at events ensuring high client satisfaction.
• Supervises and trains catering, food truck, and kitchen staff and supports staff development.
• Prepares sales reports, event summaries, and performance data for evaluation.
