Black Bear Burger - Head Chef / Kitchen Manager

Black Bear Burger is a serious contender for London's best burger! Our mantra of ‘simple done well’ has earned us loyal customers and a strong online presence. We are committed to quality, with all trial shifts including a burger and chips to showcase our standards.

We are seeking an experienced head chef/kitchen manager to join our restaurant team in Brixton.

About you

• Full-time availability (around 45 hours/week)
• Previous experience as a head chef, sous chef, kitchen manager, or assistant manager
• Desire to work in a proud, high-standard environment
• Ability to work in and manage a fast-paced, high-volume operation

About the role

• Managing opening and closing shifts
• Overseeing daily kitchen operations
• Ensuring all mise en place is prepared for service
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
• Keeping safety and due diligence documentation up to date
• Monthly salary paid on the 7th
