Job summary

NAIA National Champion Hope International seeks a dedicated coach to lead athletic programs at the high school level. You will conduct preseason planning, weekly in-season meetings, and postseason reviews with the athletic director, while coordinating off-season workouts to raise athlete skill levels.

You will communicate with administrators, participants, parents, boosters and staff to ensure timely information flow, manage equipment, and support staff. Teaching roles may also be available.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at the high school level preferred.
• CHSAA certification required prior to first practice.
• Teaching positions at middle/high school levels may be available via separate application.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the AD. Complete preseason, weekly in season, and postseason meetings.
• Implement off-season workouts to improve student-athlete skills and prepare for postseason review.
• Communicate with administration, participants, parents, boosters, and support staff to ensure timely information flow.
• Coordinate program equipment, uniforms, inventory, and budget utilization.
• Lead weight-room planning with the Strength Coach and develop a year-round training plan.
• Identify and hire middle/high school assistant coaches as needed.
• Organize and run developmental camps for elementary/middle school athletes.
• Develop a 6-12 development program and align with MS/MS coaching to translate to high school.
• Promote club coaching involvement and support elementary program implementation.
• Follow DC Athletic Handbook guidelines and represent the school professionally.
