Job summary

NAIA National Champion Hope International seeks an athletic trainer to lead and coordinate all athletic training services on campus in Kansas. You will deliver preventive care, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries, and will serve as the primary trainer for at least one major sport each season.

Responsibilities include overseeing event coverage, training room operations, emergency action planning, scheduling physician visits, and supervising assistants.

Qualifications

  • BOC Certification and Kansas Athletic Trainer Licensure current.
  • Maintain NATA membership and ethical standards.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active tasks.
  • Has a demonstrable faith in Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coordination for athletic training services and staff.
  • Deliver preventative care, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for injuries.
  • Serve as primary trainer for at least one major sport each season.
  • Oversee event coverage, training room operations, and emergency planning.
  • Coordinate physician visits and referrals for student-athletes.
  • Assign coverage and supervise assistants and student trainers.
  • Maintain accurate digital medical records and injury documentation.
  • Ensure concussion protocol and athletic insurance compliance.
  • Manage athletic training budget and inventory.
