Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead front-end operations and ensure fast, friendly, accurate service at the checkout. You will monitor Self-Checkout, process transactions, and help optimize customer experience.

The role includes coaching and training Cashiers, expediting price checks, and approving transactions as needed. Prior cashier experience of 1+ years is preferred to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier preferred with 1+ years of cashier experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coach Front End Associates by participating in training new Cashiers.
• Support cashiers with price checks, POS transactions, and markdown approvals.
• Ensure fast, friendly, accurate and safe service and monitor Self-Checkout area.
• Escalate customer issues as first line of escalation and minimize shrink by following policies.
