Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service per Lowe’s policies and programs.
• Seeks out customers, assists in locating and loading merchandise.
• Responds to questions by guiding customers through projects.
• Communicates stock, special orders, and warranty information.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales.
• Processes sales, returns, and refunds on the register.
• Handles cash and ensures accurate change.
• Removes tags, verifies product info, and bags items.
• Supports line vesting and opening additional registers when needed.
• Prepares register area and stocks supplies at shift start/end.
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages.
• Enters orders, prints tickets, and verifies receipts.
• Lookups product info and price matches.
• Records store-use items and performs daily reconciliations.
• Monitors cash drawer and safes within limits.
• Monitors store entrances/exits and assists where needed.
• Detects shoplifting signs and reports to management.
• Maintains housekeeping and safe working areas.
• Adheres to safety requirements and uses equipment as needed.
• Operates store equipment (POS, scanners, CCTV, etc.).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
