Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead front-end operations at our store in Lufkin, Texas. You will drive fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experiences while ensuring the Self-Checkout area runs smoothly and issues are resolved promptly.

You will supervise and train Front End Associates, coach new cashiers, and assist with price checks, POS approvals, and markdowns across all registers. A minimum 1+ years of cashier experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier with 1+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, accurate customer service at checkout and returns.
• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions and monitor Self-Checkout area.
• Assist in supervising, coaching and training Front End Associates; participate in training of new cashiers.
• Cooperate with supervision to expedite price checks and approve POS transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, and Tool Rental.
