The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh seeks a seasoned Day Camp Director to oversee the J&R Day Camp and provide oversight for the South Hills site. You will manage camper recruitment, staffing, safety, programming, facilities and budgets, while modeling Jewish values and community engagement.

Leading with strategic vision, you will partner with families, donors and partners to deliver high-quality camp experiences, develop staff, and ensure cross-site consistency across campuses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Recreation, Social Work or related field.
• ACA Camp leadership certification preferred.
• Experience leading youth development programs and staff supervision.

Responsabilités

• Lead overall vision, culture, and daily operations of J&R Day Camp.
• Recruit campers and staff, engage families, and build partnerships.
• Oversee budget management, safety, and ACA-standards compliance.
• Develop program themes, activities, and inclusion initiatives.
