Job summary

The Beer’d Brewing Company is seeking a Head Brewer to lead all brewing, cellaring, packaging, maintenance, and QA/QC across two facilities in Stonington/Groton, CT. The role emphasizes hands-on operation, mentorship, and a relentless focus on quality and efficiency.

You will manage production schedules, SOPs, and cross-location coordination while driving innovation in beer development and process improvements. A strong background in multi-site brewing and team leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience on a minimum 15-barrel brewhouse in a full production brewery.
• Experience working in a multi-facility organization desired.
• Minimum 3 years practical brewing, packaging, maintenance, and quality control.
• 2+ years of management and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee brewing, cellaring, packaging, maintenance, and QA/QC across two locations.
• Coordinate with the other Head Brewer to maintain uniformity between sites.
• Develop sourcing of brewing and packaging materials and drive process improvements.
• Translate business strategy into operational goals for the brewery.
• Ensure safety protocols and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
