Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a hands-on Body Shop Supervisor to lead daily body shop operations, manage production schedules, and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards. You will coach technicians, monitor progress, and coordinate with quality, operations, and customer-facing teams to keep vehicles moving.

Starting salary range is $76,000 to $90,000 per year. This role requires 3+ years of frontline supervisory experience in automotive settings, strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years frontline supervisory experience in automotive or related environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing production priorities and schedules.
• Working knowledge of automotive repair processes and customer requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily body shop operations, staffing, and production schedules to meet repair and delivery commitments.
• Monitor repair quality and productivity, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specs and warranty requirements.
• Review repair estimates, conduct quality audits, and coordinate with other departments for efficient vehicle flow.
• Serve as a key contact for customers, providing updates on repair status and progress.
• Promote safety, maintain facilities and tools, and lead training and certification tracking.
• Identify process improvements to boost safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
