Qualifications

• Valid coaching license through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners or ability to obtain it prior to the start of the season.
• Prior head coaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coach in all scheduled games; dates determined by IHSAA/IGHSAU.
• Establish philosophy, skills, and techniques for student‑athletes; promote growth.
• Lead, organize and be present at practices and events.
• Ensure safety, sportsmanship, and adherence to district policies.
