Qualifications

• Valid coaching license through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners before start.
• Prior coaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures.
• Ability to lead, instruct, and supervise students and staff.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.

Responsibilities

• Attend and coach in all scheduled games as determined by governing associations.
• Collaborate with head coach to develop off-season programs for student athletes.
• Coordinate with coaching staff on practices, student discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Teach athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.
• Be present for all practices and assess student performance for feedback.
