The ideal candidate will hold a valid Iowa Coaching Authorization, demonstrate previous coaching success, and act as a role model for student athletes. Responsibilities include supervising practices and games, fostering character development, and promoting other activities at Central DeWitt Middle School.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Iowa Coaching Authorization or Iowa Teaching License with Coaching Endorsement.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport, preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to motivate student‑athletes.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills and strategies.
• Monitor equipment rooms and authorize access.
• Lead by example demonstrating high character.
