Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver HDPE fusion and related technical training to internal staff and customers. The role includes updating training materials, administering tests, and providing hands-on instruction with a strong emphasis on safety.

You will collaborate with experts and sales to tailor programs, maintain certifications, and travel to customer sites as needed. Strong communication and Spanish-English skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work in the United States.
• Pass safety and fusion training courses and maintain certifications.
• Read and follow technical instructions and update training materials.
• Provide feedback and tailor programs to participants' needs.
• Must pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training classes for diverse groups, from beginners to pros.
• Deliver engaging sessions using multiple teaching methods.
• Update manuals, guides, and tests.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure accurate content.
• Administer tests and evaluate participants’ comprehension.
• Prioritize safety during hands-on training and field support.
• Maintain records of training, attendance, tests, and certifications.
• Operate and maintain training equipment; assist field ops as needed.
• Travel to customer sites; potentially overnight stays.
