Job summary

Core & Main seeks skilled individuals to weld specialized HDPE piping systems and operate fusion equipment for field projects. This role requires driving to multiple job sites, adhering to procedural standards, and performing timely repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Education and Experience: HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate method and equipment necessary to weld specialized thermoplastic polyethylene pipe.
• Provide & assist in custom electric and butt-welding HDPE piping systems and repairing of these systems.
• Communicates with customers to assist with their needs.
• Identify and prioritize fusion welds and needed repairs on customer projects.
• Maintain welding procedure to meet quality control standards.
• Transport fusion equipment to job site.
• Capable of responding to short notice repairs.
• Capable of operating forklift and assist in warehouse and yard procedures.
• Able to Check in & Check out Rental Fusion Equipment.
