Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, seeks a skilled welder to fusion HDPE piping systems across multiple job sites. You will weld, inspect, and repair thermoplastic piping, while coordinating with customers and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires operating fusion equipment, transporting gear to sites, and occasional forklift use. Training and certifications are provided, with medical, retirement, and education benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments if applicable.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; 0-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine method and equipment to weld HDPE pipe.
• Provide and assist in custom electric and butt-welding of HDPE piping systems and repairs.
• Communicate with customers to assist with their needs.
• Identify and prioritize fusion welds and repairs on projects.
• Maintain welding procedure to meet quality standards.
• Transport fusion equipment to job site.
• Capable of operating forklift and assisting in warehouse and yard procedures.
