Job summary

PUSH, Inc. in River Hills, WI, is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install underground cable and utilities using HDD methods. The role requires experience with HDD operations, reading prints, and the ability to mentor teammates.

You will work 100% in the field, travel as needed, and participate in safety trainings while maintaining equipment and supporting crew through all phases of boring and installation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to train and mentor other team members.
• Must have valid Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on the noted job preparations and projections.
• Operates construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade alignment specification.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide customer with directional drilling data.
• Abide all company and manufacturer safety procedures and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Responsible for the inspection and maintenance of all equipment, including routine maintenance by greasing, oiling, and minor repairs.
• Reads utility locates and coordinates day lighting of these facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
• Ensure that setup and cleanup of work site is completed properly, including traffic and pedestrian control measures.
