Job summary

PUSH, Inc is seeking a CDL-licensed HDD Operator/Locator for Northern Wisconsin to install underground cable using trenchless HDD methods. This field position requires experience with HDD around utilities in varied terrains, the ability to read prints/schematics, and the capability to mentor team members.

100% field work with travel and outdoor conditions. Responsibilities include operating HDD equipment, maintaining bore profiles, adhering to safety standards, and coordinating with locates.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Reading prints and schematics.
• Ability to train and mentor other team members.
• Valid Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on the noted job preparations and projections.
• Operates construction equipment to align, move, and adjust machinery to specifications.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide directional drilling data to customers.
• Follow safety procedures and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, including routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the job and basic labor duties.
• Ensure setup and cleanup of the work site, including traffic and pedestrian control.
