Job summary

ViiV Healthcare in Durham, NC is seeking an Us HCP Insights Lead for HIV PrEP to generate decision-ready insights by guiding primary market research with healthcare professionals. You will partner with Brand, Medical, Market Access, and other functions to translate business needs into actionable research objectives and deliver evidence-based recommendations.

You will manage vendors, integrate multiple data sources, and drive strategic decisions through rigorous analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree & 7+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech commercial experience.
• Direct experience leading HCP-focused primary market research in a commercial pharmaceutical or biotech role.
• Strong ability to frame business questions, design appropriate research approaches, and influence decisions through insights.
• Experience managing multiple research vendors and concurrent projects.
• Strong analytical judgment and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic insights partner to Brand, Medical, Market Access, Customer Experience, Portfolio Strategy, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Translate business needs and insight gaps into clear research objectives and actionable research plans that support key business decisions.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative primary market research with HCPs to support US HIV PrEP initiatives.
• Design and execute a range of research programs including ATU studies, brand tracking, segmentation and journey research.
• Manage external research vendors across study design, fieldwork, analysis, and reporting, ensuring rigor and budget stewardship.
• Integrate findings across primary research, competitive intelligence, syndicated data, claims data, and epidemiology to maximize value.
