Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree & 7+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech commercial experience.
• Direct experience leading HCP-focused primary market research in a commercial pharmaceutical or biotech role.
• Demonstrated ability to frame business questions, design appropriate research approaches, and influence decisions through insights.
• Strong expertise across qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Experience managing multiple research vendors and concurrent projects.
• Strong analytical judgment and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic insights partner to Brand, Medical, Market Access, Customer Experience, Portfolio Strategy, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Translate business needs and insight gaps into clear research objectives and actionable research plans that support key business decisions.
• Provide objective, evidence-based perspectives and recommendations to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative primary market research with HCPs to support US HIV PrEP initiatives.
• Design and execute a range of research programs, including ATU studies, brand tracking, segmentation, customer journey research, message and positioning testing, and opportunity assessments.
• Manage external research vendors across study design, fieldwork, analysis, and reporting, ensuring methodological rigor, budget stewardship, timely delivery, and compliance with internal governance requirements.
• Integrate findings across primary market research, competitive intelligence, syndicated data, claims data, epidemiology, customer feedback, and other sources to develop a comprehensive evidence base.
• Translate research findings into clear business implications, strategic recommendations, and actions for stakeholders.
• Manage multiple concurrent research initiatives and competing stakeholder priorities while maintaining alignment with business timelines.
• Uphold high standards of research quality, analytical rigor, and insight generation, with a bias toward concise, decision-ready outputs.
• Evaluate and apply innovative methodologies, tools, and data sources when they can answer business questions more effectively or efficiently.
