Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an experienced HCM Business Analyst to support a large ERP modernization and process improvement initiative. You will evaluate current HR/HCM processes, map workflows, and document business requirements to guide the ERP transformation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify gaps, translate findings into functional specifications, and support ongoing ERP decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or HRIS/HCM functional analyst.
• Strong understanding of HR/HCM processes including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, time and labor, and data management.
• Hands-on with current-state and future-state process mapping and workflow analysis.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements via stakeholder interviews/workshops.
• Experience supporting ERP-related initiatives or organizational transformation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and document existing HR/HCM business processes.
• Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps across recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, time and labor, position management, and payroll-related functions.
• Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, process gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for standardization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand varying business processes and align on future-state improvements.
• Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Translate business needs and workshop findings into clear functional requirements and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities for short-term process improvements while supporting long-term ERP modernization objectives.
• Partner with project leads, functional stakeholders, and documentation teams to ensure deliverables are accurate, consistent, and completed on schedule.
• Support the development of business requirements and process recommendations that will inform future ERP platform decisions.
