Job summary

Global Rescue is seeking an HCM Associate (Coordinator) to support core people operations, performance management, learning and development, and data administration. The role focuses on employee lifecycle support, accuracy, confidentiality, and cross‑functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, service‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, with 1–3 years of HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of progressive experience in human resources, people operations, or office admin with HR responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent combo allowed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact for routine employee and manager questions.
  • Coordinate employee engagement programs and company events.
  • Manage travel arrangements for employees and candidates, flights and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate HCM calendars, records, letters, and documentation.
  • Support policy communications and annual HR processes.

ROLE OVERVIEW - HCM Associate (Coordinator)

The Human Capital Management (HCM) Associate supports the effective delivery of core people operations, performance management, learning and development, employee data administration, compliance documentation, and employee communications. This role helps ensure that employees and managers have the tools, guidance, and operational support needed to succeed throughout the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, service-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate also brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment with confidential information, and a commitment to creating a positive, consistent employee experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee and manager questions and requests, as well as a contact for vendors supporting HCM recognition, learning & development, and training activities
  • Collaborate with other HCM team members to coordinate employee engagement programs and company events
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for employees and candidates, including scheduling flights and ground transportation, booking accommodation, and handling other trip-related tasks
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining accurate HCM calendars, employee records, employment letters, and required documentation
  • Support the administration and communication of company policies, procedures, employee programs, and key annual Human Capital processes
  • Protect the confidentiality, accuracy, and appropriate use of employee data at all times
  • Support special projects related to employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, recognition, and handbooks
  • Assist with office administration including coordinating building maintenance/repairs, distribution of mail, and ordering of office supplies, business cards, and branded items for employees
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and provide responsive, employee-centered service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook,Word, and Excel
  • Experience using an HRIS or similar platforms / systems (UKG preferred)
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, employee records management, confidentiality standards, and employment-related documentation
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in human resources, people operations, or office administration with HR responsibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
