Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Lima, OH to lead the site warehouse on a first-shift operation. You will manage up to 15 staff, ensure safety and hazmat compliance, and coordinate with the VP of Operations to meet performance goals.

The role emphasizes a strong safety culture, ISO-aligned processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a multi-industry supplier environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of similar warehouse management experience.
• Experience in warehousing chemical and HAZMAT-related materials.
• Supervision experience in non-union work environments.
• Experience working with an ERP or WMS system; Microsoft Office, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure results align with performance goals and customer expectations.
• Develop hazmat management programs and safety protocols to meet mandates.
• Monitor costs and labor to meet financial targets and optimize facility upgrades.
• Maintain ISO Quality Management Standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop staff to minimize turnover and enhance performance.
• Interface with customers on issues and support business development efforts.
