Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a HazMat Field Driver/Technician in Anchorage to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste using class B trucks, including roll-offs, tankers, and vans.

The role may require overnight shifts and periodic straight truck duties. You will perform DOT pre-trip inspections, maintain logs and manifests, ensure placarding and packaging compliance, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Competenze

• CDL-B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements is required or must be obtainable within 90 days.
• Pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.
• Must understand DOT regulations related to hazardous waste handling and transportation.

Mansioni

• Safely operate a variety of trucks (roll-offs, tankers, box trucks, tractor-trailers).
• Perform LTL pickups and DOT/MOT pre-trip inspections.
• Maintain required driver documents (logbooks, permits, manifests).
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain site housekeeping.
