Job summary

Clean Harbors in Theodore, AL is seeking a Class B CDL Driver / Equipment Operator Hazmat and Tanker to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll offs. You will support hazardous waste cleanup operations with a strong emphasis on safety.

The role includes a two-week paid Academy training (expenses covered) and a comprehensive benefits package. Expect competitive hourly pay, health benefits after 30 days, 401K with match, and growth

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical where applicable.
• Adhere to Respiratory Protection Standards (29 CFR 1910.34) if respirators are used.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all work practices.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Operate a variety of Class B trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain daily logs and various reports.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Handle site remediation and hazardous materials as required.
